Fractal Design North XL Momentum Edition Black ATX PC Case with Blackened Oak Front and Three Momentum 14 Fans (FD-C-NOR1X-07)

A Blackened-Wood XL Showcase with Room for a Planned High-Performance Build

Fractal Design North XL Momentum Edition Black combines a blackened oak front, dark alloy details and a tempered-glass side panel in the larger North XL format. Three Momentum 14 front fans and an open-front airflow design make it relevant to builders wanting a restrained black desktop presentation with more room for separately selected components.

The enclosure supports graphics cards up to 413mm with front fans, or up to 380mm with a front radiator, and radiator sizes up to 420mm at the front and 360mm at the top. These are planning limits, not a guarantee every combination fits: compare the actual board, radiator/fan assembly, memory, GPU, PSU and cable arrangement before building. A spacious case alone does not guarantee silent operation or a specific temperature.

Best For: Black wood-accent builds, Larger gaming desktops, Creative workstations, Planned 420mm front cooling, Tempered-glass showcases, Tidy cable routing

DETAIL SPECIFICATION

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Choose the exact XL Momentum configuration

This SKU uses the larger North XL body and three Momentum 14 fans. It is not the smaller North Momentum model or the original wood-colour North XL configuration.

Balance a showcase design with airflow planning

The blackened oak front and dark alloy details provide a restrained visual style, while the open front and mesh top support a carefully designed cooling path. Choose fans and cooling for the actual system heat load.

Measure cooling and graphics clearance together

A front radiator reduces the stated GPU clearance from 413mm to 380mm. Check complete radiator thickness, fan placement, board components and cable bends rather than relying on separate maximum figures alone.

Keep maintenance and routing accessible

Tool-less panel access, dust filters and 37mm routing space help with assembly and servicing. Keep filter access and airflow paths clear after all cables and drives are installed.
